J. Douglas Drogalis, P.E
Doug Drogalis is the Founder and President of Pierpont Mechanical. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer. With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Doug often takes the lead role in solving many of the technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases of a project. He is also actively involved in all design-build projects. Doug oversees all aspects of the company and prides himself on being available for our clients and employees at any time. His leadership at Pierpont Mechanical is the reason all of the company’s employees treat customer service as the top priority.
Thomas M. Walsh Jr.
Principal, Vice President
Tom Walsh joined Pierpont in 2014 as an Equity Partner and Vice President of the company. With over 15 years of experience, Tom has a wide array of knowledge in all aspects of our business including Estimating, Purchasing, Project Management, & Finance. Tom has completed a variety of trade-specific training throughout his career. He has also completed several Executive Education programs, where he continued his education in the areas of Management, Business Law, Accounting, and Business Development. Since joining Pierpont, Tom has worked diligently to not only grow our business, but to develop our teams and to implement systems and procedures that allow us to operate in the most efficient manner. He is currently involved in all aspects of day to day operations at Pierpont, with his focus on Sales & Business Development. Tom has a passion for developing relationships with clients, friends, and employees, and it shows in his family life, in his work, and in his charitable endeavors.
Director of Construction
Donnie Mecabe joined Pierpont in early 2016 as Director of Construction. Donnie has almost 20 years of experience in Estimating & Project Management. As a Senior Project Manager, Donnie managed some notable projects such as Citifield in Queens NY, the Brooklyn Nets training facility, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. In his current role, he is responsible for all Construction operations. Donnie is ensuring that our Project Managers and Project Engineers are using the latest technology to manage our projects in the most efficient manner. He is also developing our Junior PM’s to be the next generation of successful Field Personnel. Donnie’s stellar reputation in the industry and work ethic have made him an asset to Pierpont and all Pierpont’s clients.
Director of Technical Services
Joe Carey has been an asset to Pierpont Mechanical since 2003. With over 40 years of experience in our industry, Joe has worked as a technician, lead technician, project manager, & service manager. Joe has an AAS in HVAC Technology from SUNY Farmingdale, and has completed many technical courses to stay current with the latest technologies. In his role as Director of Technical Services Joe oversees all day to day operations of our Maintenance & Service department. Joe also works closely with our Construction personnel to assure we are building to the highest possible standards of craftsmanship. As Director of Safety, Joe works diligently to make sure Pierpont Mechanical and our subcontractors are utilizing the latest technology and training in regards to safety.
Patrick Farrell has been with Pierpont Mechanical since 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in project management and estimating. He is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates, budgets and value engineering options to our clients. He reviews all project plans, specifications, vendor and sub-contractor quotes in order to develop cost-effective pricing. Working closely with our team of estimators, general contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, Patrick is involved from the pre-construction phase through completion.
